The instructors are great! Very patient with the younger students. The anti-bullying culture being taught creates a positive atmosphere and teaches the kids how to deal with real world situations. The new NWIMAA location is much larger and easily accommodates larger classes. I highly recommend Northwest Indiana Martial Arts Academy.

My son has attended NWI Martial Arts Academy since it opened. He has earned his Black Belt as of October 2018. So proud of him! The team at NWIMAA is the best! They are supportive, encouraging, motivating, and skilled. The new location is so bright and welcoming…classes now have more room to hone their skills. He has learned so much and its amazing that he earned black belt before becoming a teenager. Master Theros and his staff are caring and patient with students, both young and old. I highly recommend this studio!

My young son has been enrolled at NWIMAA. The instructors have a great kids program. The focus isn’t just on karate as fighting system; they incorporate good behavior, verbal self defense tactics, and discipline. I can’t stress how important it is to have instructors that are able to gel with the kids and they all do a great job. Most of my son’s classes have been taught by Mr Mashburn; he brings enthusiasm and a positive attitude to every class that rubs off on the students.
